Virtuoso® Recognizes Blaine Horton of The Accomplished Traveler with the 2018 “Rising Star” Award

Global luxury travel network Virtuoso® congratulates Blaine Horton of The Accomplished Traveler in New York, NY as the winner of this year’s sought-after Rising Star Award at the 30^th annual Virtuoso Travel Week. Blaine Horton received the award during the Gala Dinner & Awards at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The accolade is especially noteworthy as only a fraction of the network’s 17,500 advisors and 1,000-plus agency members are honored at Virtuoso Travel Week.

Blaine was among only five nominees representing agencies spanning from Beverly Hills to New York.  His notable achievements led to the final vote from travel partners around the world.  He has served as a travel specialist at The Accomplished Traveler for five years and has quickly distinguished himself in the competitive world of luxury travel with high end clients ranging from Wall Street to Hollywood.  In 2017, he was the recipient of the coveted “30 Under 30” Award presented by Travel Agent Magazine.

“I wanted my acceptance speech to reflect that the world can be a more accepting and open-minded place through travel. I have found a home in helping people see the beauty in the world, and I get to do that every day,” said Blaine, who was recently promoted to Director of Leisure Travel at The Accomplished Traveler.  “I feel so fortunate to have explored so many destinations and experience all that they have to offer.  You really feel that travel unites when you get to know a culture.  It’s a beautiful career.”
